How Can bloating Along With Pain Below The Rib Cage Be Treated?
I am having a lot of bloating and pain under right rib cage that has been ongoing for about a month. Never goes away completely. Does not seem to make any difference what I eat or even if I am fasting. I think it may be gallbladder related, but do not know how to get relief.
I totally understand your concerns about your pain. the following points should be taken into consideration: 1- indeed the pain on the left upper quadrant in most cases is associated with gallbladder problems. But usually this pain is exacerbated after eating a fatty meal and might be associated with nausea. The first step in your case is to do an the following tests in order to detect the problem ; SGOT, SGPT, gammaGT, alkaline phosphatase, CBCD , and gallbladder ultrasound. accordingly the cause might be identified and treatment surgical or medical can be initiated. 2- for the time being, in order to decrease the pain it is recommended to A-take spasmolytic medications (such as spasfon, buscopan or scopinal) B- avoid large fatty meals C- monitor your temperature however an evaluation is always warranted in yir case.
best regards
